That was a great lede by the N-S's Evan Goodenow. I've noticed this writer's work on a few stories recently and he does good work. I think he's their new cops & robbers beat guy but their lines seem blurred in some areas. Seems to have come to the Summit City from Meridian, Conn., via Scranton (shout out to Michael Scott!), then Sandusky. Some interesting stuff out there for the Googling, but still good to see they hired someone that can write, and a fellow East Coast guy at that!

I KNEW I had seen that anti-bomb person before! In either 1959 or 1960, depending on the source, Bill Veeck, owner of the Chicago White Sox, helicoptered in some "Martians" to assist diminutive double-play combo Luis Aparicio and Nellie Fox. One of the "Martians" was Eddie Gaedel, the little person known as the only midget to ever play Major League Baseball. I couldn't find an isolated photo, but the photograph is in the side bar of this NYT page:

How did Bill Clinton raise race in anything he said?

On the day of the South Carolina primary win, Clinton dismissed it as meaningless, because of the demographics of the state. Undoubtedly, it was because Iowa was 95% African-American that Barack won there, too.

This is idiotic.

Agreed. So why do you persist?

Hillary would vote for Barrack.

She would? She says he's not qualified to be president and McCain is. Sounds like she's going to be voting for the GOP candidate this fall.

What the hellishetalking about? He thinks Rpn Raygun made sense? Well, he said so.

Cite, please?

I recall him saying that Reagan was a transformative politician, and given as much as I recall reading about "Reagan Democrats", I'd say he was right about that.

If he ever said Reagan made sense, though, I haven't seen it. You seem to be highly informed. How about finding a reliable source to back up your assertion?

Unless I miss my mark, most of y'all think the Constitutioin means deliberatiioive, and three branches. Signing statements are kinda, obviously bullsjhit. It 's a declaration of rights and hpw we state them.

So he's an insufferabe asshole. Point that out. And esplain Obama's earmarks with his wife salary boosts. This is werd, because this is exactly what rpub.ivans dp fptr a ;obong. Some voyeur already spent nearly $100 mil slaggng the Clintons tands t thelargesse of the Republican Party. They got nowhere.

How did Bill Clinton raise race in anything he said? This is idiotic. Obama's campaign I know her supporters will vote for for me. That is so dogass, it's beyond comprehension.

He figures his supporters will back McCain against Clinton? That is what the anointed said. He's enamored of Raygun. That's how he'd vote? It's a reasonable question. Hillary would vote for Barrack. Would barracck vote for some looney toon like McCain?
