Found out about Kenyon and Bill Watterson when my oldest son went there. Did you also know that Jamie Lee Curtis' daughter is there? The husband/dad is the director of Spinal Tap just can't think of his name (hate this growing old stuff)

Say, not only that, but you got Dave making quilt comments right up to midnight -- it really sounded like, if you gave him a half-hour, he could still find that thing you gave him!

Brush with greatness . . . whooosh.

So Deborah - when he simultaneously drew an elephant and a donkey while performing a musical parody about the government....

then the question arises - what does the illustration show the elephant and the donkey doing to each other?

This is the truth ruth. My grandfather, who had a radio show in the midwest a zillion years ago and a traveling one man band show before that, could draw an elephant on a chalk board set up nearby, with chalk between the toes of one foot while simultaneously drawing a donkey with chalk between the toes of his other foot on another chalk board, all the while playing the banjo and the harmonica and on top of that singing a parody about the government that he wrote himself. Dont know if he could write backward or upside down to boot.
