I felt like I was holding my breath reading your description, Nancy! What fun you must have had! Fun like that at my age just seems to come on an infrequent basis these days. Good luck at the judging on Sunday.

Nancy, that’s a great story! Thanks for sharing it. We here at the DWIFF were so PROUD of all the teams who showed up and especially those who risked it all to make it back to CCS in the nick o’time! Such suspense! I can’t wait to see all the entries on Sunday, June 29th, at 2pm… you guys deserve a round of applause.

I wish you well in the judging! But in my book, everyone who participated were winners. You showed everyone what Detroit and Michigan artists can do. And that’s “anything we feel like”!

Come enjoy this first DWIFF EVER! It’s all for all of us.

Funny as that is, C’dad, it would have flown about nine miles over the heads of 3/4 of the crew. One of the best things about this weekend was working with people who are significantly younger than me. And Jimmy Hoffa is ancient history to them.

Given the Limo and the “What’s that? It smells like cheese”, was the nemesis the reanimated Jimmy Hoffa?
