Did you notice that the Detroit Police Forensics lab has been shut down till further notice? I work in an environmental lab and am familiar with the numerous protocols required to provide not just reliable and accurant data — but most importantly defenscible, stuff you can take to court. The Police lab has blown all that off. I guess they don’t have an oversight accreditation agency. I just can’t imagine how they could have gotten away for all these years.

(ps – spelling has never been my strong suit. I can tell defensible looks wrong but can’t figure out the correct spelling.-beb)
