Leininger cites the same man-bites-dog communities that have appeared in just about every other harangue on the subject. So the de-Christmasization of the public square is hardly a sweeping national trend; rather it’s the rare exception that happens only in a handful of enlightened places. That, or he’s one lazy journalist, which I’ve always suspected anyway.
