The NYT didn’t fare too well, did it? Joe Morgenstern winning for movie criticism is good to see. He deserves it.

I still have Julia’s girlie book you loaned me–it contained the short story of the stoner’s lament. Oh, what’s her name, the author? Anyhoo, I hope I’ll get to meet this beknighted dame and hand her back the book you borrowed from her some eons ago. Sorry it never happened while I was still living only a bus stop away from her.
