Fashion is all about influences.

It’s just that some of us…

Mrs. Frankenstein has the better look.

Besides the fact that the thing on her head looks like a donkey’s ear from Pinocchio, isn’t the film industry supposed to use filters on cameras for ladies of a certain age?

That’s what puzzles me about these photos we’re seeing everywhere — how god-awful SJP looks in them. Most movie sets have still photographers working alongside the ones shooting film, and the two cameras capture image differently. Still, it’s appalling how scrawny and unflattering she appears — and I kind of liked SJP’s looks. There was always enough real-girl under all the glam outfits to make her accessible. But if the idea was to look beautiful on her wedding day, her hair should be down, her lipstick should be dialed down about 10 shades, that psycho headdress should be shitcanned and she should be wearing something filmy over that clavicle, which looks sharp enough to open cans.

Mindy, Mrs. F has the better look, but her plastic surgeon didn’t cover his tracks as well as Ms. P’s.

Rumor has it that this photo is from a dream sequence in the Sex and the City movie, not an actual wedding scene. This is somewhat based on the foofy dresses the bridesmaids are wearing in the stills. Too foofy for Samantha.

That would explain a great deal.

In picture number 8 in your link, Mary, SJP looks downright frightening. And about 70 years old!

Yeah, I started looking at the pix and couldn’t get past #8. I used to think SJP was fairly attractive. Whew! Too many diets.

Picture #8 showed a strong resemblance to Ruth Buzzi. But, if you can stand it, get past the wedding photos and check out SJP in the black outfit. Much better.

Agreed, Sue. The black outfit was great.

In case you never heard Bob & Tom talking about SJP, they can’t mention her name without someone in the background making whinnying noises. They think she strongly resembles a horse.
