Speaking of TPM, they have issues with the favorite from the other day, MoDo. http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/horsesmouth/2008/01/times_edit_page.php

That was pretty thin gruel – even by internet yapping standards – upon which to base “issues”!

But I DID laugh out loud at this quote (modified for language)

“It’s driving me out of my [freaking] mind,” Times editorial-page editor Andy Rosenthal told Media Mob this afternoon

Whenever Pam says I’m driving her crazy (which is….frequently)

I tell her “and it’s a short drive” – which draws an evil (but oddly beautiful!) glare, everytime!

Was she at Sen. Clinton’s victory party or was she thousands of miles away when the victory party occurred? Fake deadline? No attribution for source of quotes? Thin gruel, Brian, only if your concern for the truth is thin.

I went to college with Andy Rosenthal. He’s Abe’s son.

In 1972, Republicans in Michigan crossed over to vote for George Wallace as the Democratic candidate. In 1988, Repugs did the same trick voting for Jesse Jackson. This was done to embarrass the Michigan Democrats.

This year, if the national Democratic party is going to punish Michigan and put them on double secret probation, I think that a drastic measure is needed. All Dems must cross over and vote for Ron Paul. After all, “It’s not over until we say it is over!” Drive the Deathmobile through Cobo while you are at it, at ramming speed.
