This is why the Chicago Reader still reigns supreme over the many imitators who’ve come and gone over the years, including the failed/failing efforts by the big dailies to develop hot little rags to compete for the Reader’s readership: the Reader has few or no sacred cows when it comes to language or subject matter.
I’d say the Trib’s kind of got the right idea of what to do with Eric Zorn�he’s a prolific funny man. More of what he does online, however, really ought to be in print. Of course, it might be an entire section unto itself.
