My neighbor whispered, “My dad worries about ‘Girls Gone Wild.'”)

During the Bush campaign�remember back in those sunny days before Florida?�Dubya was caught unawares by live mikes when he referred to a reporter as an “asshole.”
The Sun-Times replayed the quote in a big, bold front-page photo caption�a new precedent at that time, I believe. It didn’t get the same kind of press elsewhere. In fact the Tribune buried the story and didn’t mention the expletive in question at all, in whole or in part. Neither did most media outlets.
Here’s hoping that goddamn cuss starts getting his comeuppance in the press with this election cycle.
