Snicker.

I flagged this story today for a pos­si­ble teach­ing moment with young reporters down the line. It strikes me as a near-perfect exam­ple of how to han­dle an off­beat news fea­ture — in this case, the little-reported east-west feud between Big­foot researchers — with the light­est and deftest pos­si­ble touch. The style is trans­par­ent, there’s absolutely no snark, the prose is lean and the whole thing’s a delight from start to fin­ish.
