Two housekeeping items:
First, I’m informed we have a power outage at NN.C’s Atlanta headquarters. “Running on batteries, but who knows how long that’ll last,” I’m told. Clap for the Mac Mini!
Second, Kate and I are off to Chicago tomorrow — on Amtrak! Which I love! — for some M/D bonding and a stop at the American Girl Place. As soon as the kidney broker brings me the cash for mine, we’ll be ready to start shopping.
All by way of saying we may be scarce around here through the weekend. Have a good one, if we don’t see you again.

There’s nothing more to be seen here, move on. They were doing construction on Peachtree Hills Ave, just down the street from your vast server farm. All better now.

Hope you made advance reservations for AMerican Girl Place’s tea room and show, I hear walk-ins are almost impossible. Although it is a fun place to just walk around whether you are a kid or a parent. My kid the senior keeps asking me to take down the faked American Girl magazine with her pudgy 12 yr old face on the cover. But you were so cute back in your dolly days.
