Yes, some d’bag in Turkey hacked our little collection of websites. If you’re seeing this, it probably looks different, which I hope will be temporary. My web guy’s on vacation in Kentucky, so it may be a while before he can restore it to its former loveliness.
Meanwhile, this is a test.
UPDATE: Thanks, Danny. So the RSS feed is fine and you can see individual posts if you access via the feed, but no main page. To make matters worse, the guy whose living room the server occupies is getting his e-mail bounced. Still working on it; of course this is a day when I’m working a story on a deadline tighter than paint on a wall. Argh.

Nance, I am not doing the RSS feed. I use Firefox as my web browser and when I start to type your url in the address bar, it comes up with choices of the main url and previous url’s I have visited in the comments section.

Well, I WONDERED why I couldn’t log into my daily Nancy fix this morning. Sorry about the troubles, but glad to see that it was temporary.

My sympathies. I got a virus here on my work computer last week, and the guys in information services took my computer away for a day. When i got it back, my personal archive files were the only thing missing. The files that held all my legal documents for the green card people I’m sponsoring, the templates for letters to the state department, you name it, if it’s a real pain to replace, it’s lost. Probably because of a bungle in the IS department, not because it was infected with the virus. What joy.
