   I love the statement he issues:

   “I would like to apologize to the Detroit Lions organization, our fans, my family and friends for any embarrassment these incidents have caused. These incidents represent a mistake in judgment on my part. I deeply regret them and have learned a valuable lesson. It won’t happen again.”

   Well, guy, I think that horse is outta the barn. Short of him being one to sleep in the nude and his house being on fire and having to grab his car keys at the last minute, I think this is going to go pretty badly for him.

   my favorite sentence in the news article was

   Court records say the nudity incident happened Aug. 24 about 11:15 p.m., the night before the Lions flew to the West Coast for an exhibition game against the Oakland Raiders

   I guess he was just in gettin’ into the swing (so to speak) for the exhibition game, eh?

   I like the wording on the ticket:

   In the latter incident, a Dearborn police ticket describes the coach as “driving on public street without any clothes on. (NUDE).”

   Is that how they write tickets in Dearborn? Can officers use their own definition of “without any clothes on”—buck naked, starkers, in his birthday suit? Much more picturesque.

   The best one I heard was on the radio today, when a caller imagined that the arresting officer on the DUI was the same as on the Driving While NUDE: “You just got a DUI the other day and now this? Clearly I can see you’re nuts.”

   Who would I like to see Naked? Well, I have my very own naked man at home, but will admit to a secret desire to see one that is uncircumcized, not having ever seen such in the flesh so to speak.

   I’ve seen lots of pics, and I have no desire to hangout with any other naked man than my sweet own, it’s just one of those things. Only to see, not to touch, um, or whatever.
