I just wrote a nice long post about, well, a bunch of things. It started out with a hymn to online package tracking, dallied at sports-bra design, moved on to narco-lollipops and ended with the American Enterprise Institute, just the sort of eclecticism that pleases my eclectic readership. The first comment that came in was a spam trackback. I was trying to do something else — pet the dog — while I deleted it, and guess what? Deleted the post.
Screw this blogging. Screw it, I say! Find someone else to for your sports-bra fix. I’m off to find some narco-lollipops.

if it makes you feel any better, it was there long enough for me to read, including the rant about the denny doherty article.

The early bird gets the deleted post. Thanks for mentioning it.

Well, Kirk, you may be able to pull the original post out of your cache.
Nancy does sorta the same thing. At least it rhymes with cache.
I’ll be here all week, tip your waitresses.

It was a great post! I was going to paste an excerpt from the bit about the old guy at the AEI thing, and say that I watched his talk on C-SPAN, and that the old fellow reminded me of Commander McBragg on Bullwinkle (“DID I ever tell you about the time I stopped a massed charge of 12,000 buffalo, using shoestrings and my canteen?” – to which his weary aide says “no sir, you haven’t…”)
and I was also going to say that I LOVE online tracking! – use it every day – several times a day! -and 15 years ago when a customer called and asked “where’s my stuff?” that would cost you an hour of your day (dig up the paper order, call ups with the numbers – IF you get through their phone phalanx! – then call the customer back, and re-file the paper)
and I was going to say ‘gimme the link to the brunettes in Kedds site’ (brunettes in anything turn my head!)…….
but never mind

Danny-that was good.
The rest of you–stop discussing a post no one else read. Thank you.

For some reason I can hear Homer Simpson’s voice saying “MMM’M Narco-lollipops!”. (I think I’ll probably stop in for a meeting tonight).
