Dear old dad.

The sum total of my thoughts on Mel Gibson’s new movie are this:

1) He has every right to make it, and by so doing, has to accept whatever consequences that, good and bad, go with it, and;

2) His father is a total freakin’ whack job.

In the bizarre interview, (Hutton) Gibson also said Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan should be lynched and called for the government to be overthrown. …He said the Germans did not have enough gas to cremate 6 million people and that the concentration camps were just “work camps.” “It’s all – maybe not all fiction – but most of it is,” he said.”

    I suspect Mel’s just a chip off the old block. He’s been known to make some pretty harsh statements against gay people. Glad to see him being crucifiedand I don’t mean in his crappy movie.

    hey, mel’s even made some harsh statements about his wife, pointing out that–because she’s a devout episcopalian and not roman catholic–it’s a darn shame she’ll be spending eternity in hell.

    I always wondered why Mel Gibson had so many kids. I didn’t know until now that he’s an over the top catholic. Back in the day… of growing up in parochial school, the church used to give out prizes to those families in the parish with the most kids. I always thought that was weird. Remind me to tell you some time the many funny comments dad made about the people up the street who had 7 kids. The one about pink underwear is especially funny.
