I had a post all ready to go, but Comcast is constipated this morning. So I’m off to the morning grind, and I’ll try to catch up via the library’s connection in a couple hours, eh?
Until then, talk amongst yourselves.

Rats – this means I’m going to try to have to come up with something intelligent to think about on my own. I better get started on that right now!
Happy Monday everyone.

I enabled the comments on that one Connie. From a town square in Sicily. Enjoy!

jc, yours is to enjoy.
After watching South Riding, I’m trying to work these phrases into conversation today: “off you go, then”, “do carry on”, and my favorite, “cheeky beggar”. That last one could be a challenge.

Julie – I liked the “come on through, then” when company would come to Mrs. Beddows’ home. She said that instead of saying “Won’t you please come in?”

Pam and I finally caught The King’s Speech this past weekend, and the phrase I am repeating is “Pardon me, I’m in the loo”.
Although “Off you go, then” sounds like a keeper, too.
